The Kennett Area Senior Center is a non-profit organization serving the older residents of southern Chester County. The Center provides daytime, evening, and occasional weekend programs and services to help residents stay active, healthy, and involved, assisting them to remain independent.

Just a friendly reminder … during the winter months, if the Kennett Consolidated School District is closed or is on a delayed opening, the senior center will be closed. That includes all activities during the day and evening. Should the closure be on a Friday, there will be no Friday Night Bingo. You can find school closure announcements on TV stations : Fox-TV 29|KYW-TV3|NBC-TV 10|ABC-TV 6. Or listen to radio stations KYW-1060 AM|WSTW-93.7 FM|WCOJ 1420 AM|WDEL-1150 AM|WILM-1450 AM for closing information. You can also call the center after 6:30 AM and listen to the recording for current closure information. We will also post the center’s closure on our website, www.kennettseniorcenter.org and on Facebook, https://www.facebook.com/KennettSeniorCenter/.
